It's almost time to fly off again for this year's Camino. Our plan this time is to walk the Caminos Lebaniego and Vadiniense from the northern coast of Spain, down through the Picos de Europa (high mountains!) to Leon, then continue westward for a few days along the popular Camino Frances (brown on the map), then divert to the slightly more southerly Camino Invierno from Ponferrada on to Santiago de Compostela. All of these except the Frances are lightly traveled and don't even show up on the overview map. But for those following along, the first stretch runs roughly parallel to and east of the Ruta del Salvador (lavender color on the map).
If everything works the way it should, the new posts from this year (2014) should show up at the top of the blog and appear in reverse chronological order. The old posts from 2012 should appear below, following the overview map, but for those I modified the dates so that they show up chronologically. Confused?
Looking forward to following your travels. Esp. as some of these interior routes are beginning to really nag at me! Buen Camino. Karin
